The Hershey Foundation directors pledge to continue the philanthropic tradition established by Jo Hershey Selden in memory of her husband, Alvin A. Hershey — providing bridges of opportunity for the children of Northeast Ohio.
DEBRA HERSHEY GUREN
President and CEO
President and CEO of The Hershey Foundation. Debbie has worked with over 220 organizations to fulfill the mission of The Hershey Foundation to benefit children in NE Ohio. An avid supporter of Montessori, Debbie has provided leadership for Montessori Development Partnerships since 1990 and Hershey Montessori School since 1984. Debbie is the visionary behind Stonebrook Montessori, a public school serving children and families in Cleveland.
ADAM M. GUREN
Vice President and Treasurer
Adam Guren has been the Vice President and Treasurer of The Hershey Foundation since 2009. In addition, he is the Founder and CIO of Hunting Hill Global Capital, an event-driven asset manager which launched its first fund in February 2012. Previously, Adam managed a global event-driven arbitrage portfolio at First New York Securities, becoming the youngest partner in firm history and named in Trader Monthly magazine's “Top 30 Traders Under 30” list. Adam received an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in Economics from Duke University.
CAROLE HERSHEY WALTERS

Carole Hershey Walters has been on the foundation board since its inception in 1986 and is currently the board secretary. Carole has a passion for the arts and the sciences.
ZACHARY A. GUREN
Director
Zach Guren joined the foundation board in 2016. Zach is proud that The Hershey Foundation has dedicated over 30 years to supporting children in Northeast Ohio and is excited about the opportunity to help carry that dedication into the future.

Dave Walters joined the foundation board in 2016. Dave recognizes the impact foundations such as ours can have on the community. He is proud to be a part of the foundation’s work supporting positive change and growth in Northeast Ohio.
SARA B. GUREN
Director
Sara Guren joined the foundation board in 2018. The impact that The Hershey Foundation has made in the community inspires Sara to continue to support children in Northeast Ohio and carry out the Foundation’s mission going forward.
